John Edward (Johnnie) Drewer served on a submarine during World War II. After the war, he returned to St. Louis and became
a carpenter. He was a horseman, a musician, and a recreational vehicle enthusiast. He was active in the Masons,
in his Church, and in his community. He remains a popular "Uncle" and "Grandpa" to many in his extended
family.
